Generally I feel like a head strong, bumptious, talkative, over eager beaver forever shouting unwelcome ideas into unwilling ears. But I was actual ly praised, lauded and admired by fellow Antiquarians for "firm "noble senti and "exactly right" speeches made in connection with the currently organized Fellowship Hall project. And when your fellow citizens do oc August Is church summer celebration month. Russian Orthodox began with their annual festival Sunday.

There are special services in the church proper, a dinner in the basement, and a lawn fair on the pleasant grounds behind the church. St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church will celebrate the 100th year of the church with a family potluck picnic on Sunday, August 13th. St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Danbury is readying a supply of ALCW cookbooks for sale when they hold their annual Peach Festival on the church grounds on August 26th.

Mrs. Richard Ohrstrom and Mrs. Robert Guba are co-chairmen. President Marjorie Carnicom phones me that the Building Committee of the Lakeside Board of Trustees met again on the weekend and voted to give the Antiquarian group the Fellowship Hall property at the corner of Maple and Third Streets for a museum. The society must present an adequate plan for a $3,000 restoration, at least, and modernization with a proper plan for financing it by November 3rd.

Miss Carnicom will call a meeting of the group some time this week. The use of the building will satisfy the gift of $1200 already made to Lakeside by Miss Eleanor Durr. There will be, according to present discussion, a nominal rent of one dollar a year. Lakeside Property Owners will hold an important meeting Saturday, August 12, at 1 p.m. in the north room of the Lake-front Pavilion.

All cottage owners are urged to join this group and support the town. Annual dues are only one casionally pat you on the head, doesn't it feel good? Costs 25 cents to speak to me. Yes, I feel as if I had moved to May-berry and gone to committee meeting with Aunt Bea and Andy Griffith. The Twelfth Annual Art Show of Lakeside is now in progress. Mrs.

Boys ages 13 18 may join, with the consent of their par-i ents. Bruce Moritz was elected president; Merle Norwalk, vice-president; Ronald secretary j' and Terry Hansen, treasurer.

Other boys present were Douglas Jensen, Joe Lach, Ro-; land Hansen, Mike Haack, Don Zunk, John Bowlander, Charles Palacios, and Bob Peters. They will have a car wash at the Fire Hall, August 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. The boys will be trained in first-aid and fire fighting and the use of equipment. They may accompany the regular department to fires and learn by observing.

1 and children of Potomac, Illinois, spent four days at the home of their daughter and her husband, Mr. and Mrs Dennis Smith. Mrs. Mary Tokar is home confined 12 days after surgery. Roy Thurston passed away Saturday morning, August 5, after surgery.

His body a taken to the Veh Funeral Home in Gibsonburg. Mrs. Derly Palacios is still hospitalized. Her mother arrived in Toledo, August 2, from Laredo, Mexico. The family had planned a three week visit with her at her home before Mrs.

Palacios became ill. The Presbyterian Youth Fellowship made a good profit from their rummage sale recently. There were so many pood articles leh and with more donations coming in, they are planning to hold another sale before fall. The Harold Novotny and Ad-rain Blausey families were on a trip out west for two weeks. They were at Yellowstone Park and visited Mrs.

Novotny's relatives in Montana and North Dakota. It was very hot and dry. The farm crops looked best in Illinois, they said.
