Ziegler May 22, 1905-Sept. 7, 1999 OAK HARBOR Alice Sophia Ziegler, 94, of Oak Harbor, died Tuesday at Riverview Nursing Home. She was born in Carroll Township, the daughter of the late Edward and Emma (Hoffman) Andresen. On Aug.

25, 1926, she married Merle E. Ziegler. He died on June 27, 1992. Mrs. Ziegler was a homemaker and a teacher at Carroll Schools and Gypsum Country Schools.

She and her husband owned operated Crystal Inn Restaurant in Marblehead. She was a member of St. John Evangelical Lutheran Church. Surviving are her nieces, Lois Bell, Toledo, Linda K. Dunn, Oak Harbor, and a nephew, Albert Wadsworth, Port Clinton.

Two infant brothers and sisters, Mable Wadsworth and Verna Franck, are deceased. Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. Friday at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. The funeral will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.

Burial will be in Union Cemetery. Memorials may be made to the Luther Home of Mercy in Williston or the donor's choice. Frances E. Barnes Died Sept. 8, 1999 PORT CLINTON Frances E.

He was born in Marion to Frank and Almina (Miller) Winters. Mr. Winters served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War from 1952 to 1954; he then served 14 years in the National Guard, retiring in 1968. He was a member of American Legion Post 455 in Woodville.

Mr. Winters had been a millwright for the Libbey-Owens-Ford Toledo, East Broadway Plant, for 30 years, retiring in 1984. Survivors include his wife of 48 years, the former Anna L. Lenz, whom he married on Oct. 7, 1950, in Pemberville; children, Christine Turner of Luckey, Frederick Winters of Woodville, Kathlene Mitchell of Gibsonburg and Sheila Winters of Perrysburg; six grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Winters, Perrysburg.

Visitation will be 7 to 9 tonight and 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Robinson-Henn-Brossia Funeral Home, Woodville. The funeral will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Westwood Cemetery.
