Wolwth FREMONT Roger and Shelly Tarolli, 1447 Buckland are the parents of a daughter, Jillian Renee, born at 3:23 p.m. on June 1 in Memorial Hospital. She weighed 8 pounds, 12 ounces, and was 21 inches long. Grandparents are Jim and Kathy Ayres of Fremont, and Louis and Gloria Tarolli of Port Clinton. Hamann, 73, formerly of 115 Franklin died Monday at the Classic Care Facility. She was a former Marblehead resident. Born in Marblehead, she was a daughter of Joseph and Elona (Onyock) Ontko. She was a custodian for Danbury High School and for the Marblehead Bank for many years. She was a member of St.

John Lutheran Church of Marblehead, YMCA Sandusky, Danbury's Young at Heart and the Senior Citizens Ladies Group. Surviving are sons, William and Lloyd Hamann, both of Marblehead; daughters, Patricia Warnke of Clinton and Elona Isaac of Gibsonburg; 11 grandchildren; 17 great children; sisters, Veronica Monok of Marblehead, Magdelena Henry of Newark, and Julia Wilt and Annabell Babcock, both of Sandusky. Three brothers, Joseph, George and John; two sisters, Mary and Elizabeth; a daughter, Maryann, and a granddaughter preceded her in death. Although Gerner Wolf Funeral Home, Port Clinton, is handling arrangements and conducting the services, visitation and services will take place at. Eugene Helle April 18, 1932-June 2, 1991 FREMONT Eugene P. "Gene" Helle, 59, of 14 Meadowbrook Lane, died Sunday in the Fremont Memorial Hospital. Born in Youngstown, to Elmer and Letha (Stapleton) Helle, he married Sally McLaughlin on Sept. 24, 1960, in Akron. She survives.

Mr. Helle was a 1960 graduate of Youngstown State University and was a U.S. Army Veteran serving from 1952-54. He worked for Port Clinton Manufacturing Company as the director of finance and administration and had previously worked at Ares Inc. near Port Clinton.

Surviving in addition to his wife are his mother, residing in Youngstown; a son, David of Columbus; a daughter, Laurel Helle of Fremont, and a brother, Gordon Helle of Youngstown. He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, Port Clinton Yacht Club, Port Clinton Elks Lodge and the Port Clinton Moose Lodge. Memorial services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday in the First Presbyterian Church, Fremont. There will be no visitation.

Shirley E. Haar Nov. 3, 1922-June 2, 1991 LINDSEY Shirley E. Haar, 68, County Road 92, Lindsey, died Sunday afternoon at Bethesda Care Center, Fremont, following a lengthy illness. Born in Sandusky County, she was a daughter of Martin and Eva (Stabel) Haar.

Surviving are brothers, Calvin and Lawrence Haar, both of Elmore, and Richard Haar of Lindsey. A sister, Kathryn Cheiky, preceded her in death. Eugene A. Dickert June 17, 1909-June 3, 1991 LAKESIDE Eugene A. Dickert, 81, of Lakeside, died Monday morning at Firelands Community Hospital, Sandusky, after a lengthy illness. Born in New York City, he was a son of Ignatius and Mary (Shabesberger) Dickert. Mr.

Dickert was a Lakeside resident since 1984, coming from Buffalo, N.Y. He was a retired research chemist for Allied Chemical Buffalo. Mr. Dickert was a member of Lakeside Men's Club, Lakeside Investment Club and Lakeside United Methodist Men's Club. His first wife, Rose (Bindeman) Dickert, died in 1975.

He then married Thelma Post and she died in 1983. Surviving, N.C.; are a a son, stepson, Karl John of Post of Elma, N.Y.; three stepdaughters; a sister, Edith Kirkof Lakeside, and three grandchildren. Three brothers and a sister died previously. The funeral will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Lakeside United Methodist Church.

Burial will be at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Buffalo. There will be no visitation. Memorials may be made to Lakeside United Methodist Church or Lakeside Volunteer Fire Department. Neidecker-LeVeck and Crosser Funeral Home, Port Clinton, is in charge of arrangements. G.

Rarig, 81, of Limestone, died Monday evening in St. Charles Hospital, Oregon. Arrangements are pending at Crosser Funeral Home, Oak Harbor. Daily Log Fire PORT CLINTON No damage resulted from a du apster fire at Standard Products late Monday morning, Port Clinton Fire Chief John Drummer said. The outside dumpster, part of the compactor system, was full of scrap rubber.

Drummer said he has not been able to determine a cause but that he believes hot rubber remnants may have been poured into the steel container. The 11:10 a.m. fire did not interrupt work inside the building, Drummer said. Firefighters remained on the scene a couple of hours. Drummer said a majority of the time was spent spreading the debris across the lot to check for hotspots before BFI waste haulers disposed of it.

Accidents PORT CLINTON Three women were treated at H.B. Magruder Hospital emergency room and then released following a two-car collision in front of Burger King on Perry Street Saturday, Port Clinton police reported. Emma J. Brent, 42, 416 E. Third Port Clinton, and two passengers in her car, Angela Brent, 17, and Andrea Brent, 13, both of 416 E.

Third were traveling westbound on Perry Street when their car was struck on the right side by another car which was exiting the restaurant driveway. The driver of the second car, Robert L. Gadd, 27, Hamilton, was not injured in the 8:55 p.m. crash. Police cited Gadd for failure to yield the right of way.

0 PORT CLINTON A Port Clinton man reportedly suffered injury as the result of a two-car collision Saturday at the Ash and Perry Street intersection, city police reported. According to police reports, Quentin L. Phillabaum, 22, 121 Walnut Port Clinton, was attempting to enter Perry Street from Ash Street shortly before 9 p.m. when his car struck an eastbound car driven by David C. Whiting.

Whiting claimed injury and took himself to the hospital, a patrolman said. A hospital employee Monday said she had no information available regarding Whiting. Police cited Phillabaum for not wearing a seatbelt and for failure to yield the right of way. 0 PORT CLINTON Two Port Clinton men were treated at H.B. Magruder Hospital Friday for injuries suffered when the car they were riding in struck a parked car along Fremont Road, city police reported.

The injured were driver Jay Fitch, 84, 1828 N. Locust and his passenger, Ollie Johnson, 62, 212 Walnut St. Both were released following treatment. According to police, Fitch was driving north on Fremont Road when his car veered into a parked compact car owned by Dale Blount, 407 Fremont Road, Port Clinton. Police cited Fitch for failure to control in connection with the 5:17 p.m.

Sheriff SALEM TOWNSHIP An undetermined amount of damage was caused when vandals broke into the Junior Leadership Board stand at the Ottawa County Fairgrounds and ransacked the place, the sheriff's office reported. The door hinge had been pulled or pried off. The screen on the window was ripped and a light fixture was damaged. The person reporting the incident, Bob Libben, said the break-in occurred either Thursday or Friday.
